A friend of mine on Pixiv decided to start a little project called "Mizugi Muffler Battle" which is basically just a collection of artwork focusing on cute girls wearing swimsuits and scarves while wielding outlandish weapons. I naturally decided to make this the subject of a little sketch. I'll do something more refined in the future.

Modular Frame Tactics - Frame Silhouettes
by ianchase on Jan.21, 2010, under Art, Game Design, Modular Frame Tactics
The 5 core types of frames in the game. The frames are based on a stock model that is modified into one of the designs below. All frames have 3 core characteristics; they have the ability to use a regenerating pool of boost energy to enhance their mobility temporarily, an omnidirectional force shield that regenerates slowly when it's not under attack, and specialized armor to protect their essential systems (their health). Frames can also be equiped with 2 weapon systems that they will use in combat. The pilots are projected via hologram into the core of the unit, represented here by the orange character in the center of each unit.
